Annual Progress Reports

The Chapter 12 Rule, Compulsory Attendance Exceptions lists the records parents are required to keep for their child. What records are required? What are the best ways to keep records? Record Keeping Part 1 and Part 2 will answer your questions.

Parents are required to submit annual progress reports for their children.  They may choose to submit scores from a nationally normed standardized achievement test, a written evaluation by a teacher certified to teach in the State of Hawaii, or a written parent evaluation.  Test score are also required for grades 3, 5, 8, and 10.
